Has Formula 1 gotten boring ? No more tire changes, no more overtaking, bland personalities? What can be done?
You throw in a green shell and some mushrooms that's what! These are caricatures of the current crop of Formula 1 personalities in unfamiliar territory. In the world of Super Mario Kart.
I tried to keep the Mario like palette and the fun. The challenge was to try to get all the head shapes and characters in there and make them fit.
My usual process is a block in with a hard round in Photoshop, then painting in Corel Painter, then back into Photoshop for some 'post' work, ie just the motion blur.
